Villa Borgia is a gorgeous detached villa in a lovely position nestled in the Tuscan countryside. The villa opens onto a beautiful patio overlooking a lovely long secluded garden at the bottom of which there is a pretty swimming pool. Spacious and very comfortably furnished to a high standard, Villa Borgia provides delightful accommodation in a beautiful area of Tuscany.

The villa which has two floors, was originally a Tuscan barn, now carefully restored retaining many of its original characteristics such as beamed ceilings and slanted brickwork at the windows. On the ground floor of the villa there is a large and inviting open plan living room which opens directly onto the patio. The living room is beautifully furnished is classic Tuscan style and has a fully equipped country kitchen area, dining table and chairs, and sitting area with settee, arm chairs, fireplace, satellite television and DVD player. On the same floor are two comfortable bedrooms, one with double bed, one with twin beds and two shower rooms (one of which is en suite). As the villa is built characteristically on a slope, third bedroom is on a separate lower level of the villa reached by external steps. This spacious bedroom has a double bed, armchairs and own en suite shower room.

The villa opens onto a lovely patio area prettily adorned with terracotta pots brimming with colourful geraniums and overlooking the mature garden. Furnished with table, chairs, sun umbrella and barbecue, the patio is the perfect spot for dining al fresco whilst enjoying the gorgeous surroundings. A few steps away in a pretty position at the bottom of the garden is a beautiful private swimming pool (8m x 4m), surrounded by lawns and shaded by silvery olive trees.

The attentive owners have added the modern comforts of air conditioning to the villa and there is a laundry room with washing machine. Also at guests disposal is a laptop computer with internet connection and telephone. Parking is within the grounds of the villa.

Villa Borgia is situated near to a cluster of stone houses, originally a tiny ancient hamlet, and the wooded hills in the surrounding countryside are renowned for local truffles and mushrooms often featured in the local cuisine. There is a handy bar and a couple of local restaurants within walking distance (300 - 500m approx) of the villa and the main town of Montaione which has a large supermarket, selection of shops and further amenities is only approximately 7km away.

Villa Borgia is situated within easy reach of many wonderful Tuscan towns, Medieval San Gimignano is only 30 minutes drive away, and the gorgeous art cities of Florence and Siena can be reached by car in less than an hour.
