Situated in a beautiful position on a large estate in the heart of the Tuscany with wonderful views of the verdant countryside all around is Villa Vinsanto. Originally a barn, it has now been fully restored into a lovely private villa with its own garden, and has the use of a swimming pool. Furnished in classic Tuscan style, the villa is fully fitted with modern comforts whilst retaining all its original characteristics.

On two floors the villa has beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, original slanting brickwork on the windows and air conditioning throughout. On the ground floor is a fully equipped country kitchen with dining table and chairs separated by a lovely archway from the living room which has comfortable settees and satellite television. On the same floor are two pretty bedrooms, one with double bed and one with double and single bed, and two shower rooms (one of which is ensuite). Stairs lead to the first floor where there is a charming double bedroom in the original tower and a further shower room.

The villa is surrounded by its own private garden where there is a barbecue and table and chairs for dining al fresco. A short stroll away is a large swimming pool (16m x 8m) which is shared by the apartments nearby and is perfect for a cooling dip in the heat of the summer. There are extensive views of the beautiful landscape dotted with vineyards and olive groves from every corner of the estate, and lovely country walks can be enjoyed.

Villa Vinsanto is situated on a large estate just over 2km from the pretty Tuscan town of Gambassi Terme which has a selection of shops and restaurants. Situated in other secluded positions in the grounds of this immense estate there are a further two private villas, some apartments and the main building, originally a convent, where there are some rooms and a small reception with internet connection where extra services such as cleaning, and breakfast can be arranged*. Many of the regions famous sights such as medieval San Gimignano, and Volterra are within easy driving distance and the famous cities of Florence and Siena can also be easily reached via nearby road and rail links.
