Villa Serre

Once a country house, Villa Serre has now been fully restored has been cleverly divided into apartments forming spacious accommodation for large parties whilst retaining privacy. The villa is furnished in classic Tuscan style with many antique pieces and each apartment has its own living/dining room with kitchen area. There are a total of ten characteristic bedrooms and five bathrooms and the thoughtful owner has added many modern comforts such as dishwashers, satellite television and air conditioning.

The villa is surrounded by a well kept garden and there a is large terrace which has tables, chairs and gazebo for dining al fresco and a barbecue. There is plenty of space for relaxing around the pretty swimming pool (12m x 6m) which is private to the villa and enjoys a fine view of the surrounding countryside and there is a round children?s pool (4.5m in diameter) for the little ones. Below the swimming pool is a games room equipped with billiard table, and close to the villa is a communal dining room with fully equipped kitchen, and dining area with table and chairs where the whole party can prepare and enjoy delicious meals together.

Villa Serre is excellently located for touring the area with the towns of Montepulciano, renowned for its excellent wine, Pienza, beautiful Cortona and Montalcino all being close by. The treasures of Umbria with its famous hill towns of Perugia and Assisi are also within easy driving distance and Lake Trasimeno with its beaches and ferry services to its islands is an interesting place to visit. The main motorway link is only 12 km away, making also Rome and Florence easily accessible.
