Situated in the valley below the town of Cortona proudly perched on the hillside just 1 km away, the villa which dates back to the 19th Century, was originally the country residence of a local noble family. Now fully restored it retains many of the original characteristics. In the grounds of the estate is a lovely swimming pool (9m x 4m) enjoying a pretty view of the countryside and surrounded by lawns and mature gardens with majestic cypress trees, colourful plants and secluded spots for relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity.

The main villa is situated on two floors and has been elegantly furnished in traditional style with many carefully collected turn of the century antique pieces. On the ground floor of the villa is a beautiful living room which boasts an inviting sitting area complete with original fireplace and comfortable sofas. Archways lead to the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, and there is a handy washroom with w.c.

A staircase leads from the living room to the first floor, where there are three pretty bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. The bedrooms open onto a terrace which is furnished with table and chairs and enjoys lovely views over the Chiana valley and Lake Trasimeno can be seen on a clear day in the distance. The terrace is furnished with table and chairs and is the ideal place for dining al fresco whilst admiring the panorama.

Adjacent to the main villa are two cottages which can also be rented and the mature grounds have many secluded spots for relaxing in the garden or by the pool (9m x 4m), set in a charming position below and with lovely views of the valley and medieval Cortona on the hillside.

Cortona, just 1 km away and accessible on foot is a charming town. Rich in history, it is a real joy to explore and has a variety of shops, and excellent restaurants. Within easy driving distance are many of the finest places of interest of Tuscany, including Siena, Montepulciano, and Pienza. Lake Trasimeno and the Umbrian towns of Perugia and Assisi can also be easily reached.
