Vignabella 1

The estate is composed of a pretty country house now restored into just four characteristic apartments, one in which the owner lives, the others which are rented. In a lovely hilltop position, the estate is reached by a typical untarmaced country road that winds through the wooded countryside and olive groves. In fact the estate produces excellent olive oil which is available locally for tasting and purchase. There are gorgeous views all around and the azure sea can be seen in the distance from corners of the estate. The beautiful Tuscan coast is within easy driving distance and has many beaches and lovely seaside towns to explore.

Vignabella 1 is on the ground floor of the house and has its own terrace complete with table and chairs for dining al fresco, and there is a barbecue for guests use. The terrace opens directly into the living area of the apartment which is comfortably furnished and has a kitchen area, dining table and chairs, sitting area with settee (which converts to a double bed on request to accommodate 2 extra persons), and satellite television. There also are two pretty bedrooms and a shower room.

There is plenty of room for relaxing around the lovely swimming pool (11m x 5.5m) which also has a separate children’s pool area (5m x 4m) and is surrounded by a wooden sun deck equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is a table tennis table and boules available to guests, a communal washing machine and parking within the grounds. Panoramic country walks around the estate can be enjoyed and horse riding is also available nearby.

The local village with grocers shop and restaurant is just 4km away and slightly further afield is the seaside town of Cecina (10km approx) with its pretty beaches, larger selection of amenities and even an aquapark for a fun day out. There is much more to see in the nearby area, the beautiful bay of Baratti overlooked by the interesting historical town of Populonia, lovely nature parks, Etruscan ruins and even the Isle of Elba is easily reached via the ferry port just half an hours’ drive away. The famous towns of San Gimignano, Volterra, and Pisa are also within easy driving distance.
