Brunello, one half of Villa Italy has been recently restored with great care and attention retaining its original characteristics such as terracotta floors and beamed ceilings and is very nicely furnished in Tuscan style. The cosy living room has a fireplace and patio doors lead onto the apartments private terrace which is furnished with table and chairs. The apartment also has an area in the garden furnished with table, chairs and barbecue, and there is a pretty swimming pool (5m x 12m) with a fine view of the countryside.

Its location is perfect for visiting the famous region of Southern Tuscany with the towns of Montepulciano, renowned for its excellent wine, Pienza, for its pecorino cheese, and beautiful Cortona all being close by. The town of Chianciano Terme is only 4km away and houses many thermal spas, a variety of shops and restaurants and a large public swimming pool.

The treasures of the region of Umbria with its famous hill towns of Perugia and Assisi to name but a few are also within easy driving distance. Lake Trasimeno is also very close and an interesting place to visit, it has beaches, sailing facilities, and ferry services to its islands, one of which is a natural park with lovely walks and the other ‘Isola Maggiore’ which is famous for the local women who crochet lace on the streets, an art said to be of irish origin. The main motorway link is only 16km away, making also Rome and Florence easily accessible.
