A few steps from the garden is the estates large swimming pool (15m x 6m) which is furnished with sunbeds and enjoys a pleasant view of the countryside. The swimming pool opens from 31st May, therefore Mid B Season price applies for the weeks commencing 17th and 24th May.
Monica is a lovely apartment in a secluded position in a restored hamlet which lies on top of a hill between Colle di Val d’Elsa and Siena and affording fine views of the surrounding countryside. There are twelve apartments some which house resident Italian families and a few which are rented out.
The apartment is well located for exploring the area, Colle di Val d'Elsa ‘City of Crystal’ lies 7km away and has a beautiful medieval quarter, an excellent Friday morning market, shops, restaurants, a supermaket and road and bus links to Florence and Siena. Within a short drive there are many excellent trattorias and several charming medieval hilltop villages, such as Casole d'Elsa and Mensano, which are well worth visiting. Parking is in the grounds close to the apartment.
