Tramonti

Tramonti is easily reached via 50 steps that lead from the coastal road that runs through the village of Praiano to the apartment situated above. From its elevated position, there are the most beautiful views of the azure sea below. Praiano with its shops, excellent restaurants and bars is close by, and the pretty beaches of La Praia and La Gavitella can be reached on foot or by a short bus ride.

Tramonti is very nicely furnished and comfortable with stunning views from many of its windows. Its spacious living room has a dining area with table and chairs, sitting area with settee (which can convert to a bed on request to accommodate an extra person), fireplace and television. It opens onto a lovely terrace which is furnished with table and chairs and enjoys spectacular sea views, the perfect spot to dine al fresco whilst watching the sun setting on the horizon. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom which opens onto a balcony, two shower rooms, and the apartment also has air conditioning and a washing machine.

This wonderful area inspired writers and composers such as Goethe and Wagner, who were awed with its beauty. The picturesque towns of Positano and Amalfi are less than half an hour’s drive or can be reached by local bus and there are ferry services from both to the beautiful islands of Capri and Ischia. Further afield and well worth a visit are the archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano, at the feet of the volcano Vesuvius, and cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of streets, with shops and pavement cafes is a joy to explore.

Note: As the apartment is built into the cliff side, there are steps to the apartment and seafront. Therefore this property may not be suitable for persons with walking difficultie.
Electricity, air conditioning and heating, are payable locally.
Extra services, such as maid service, cook, private excursions and guides can all be organized locally on request. There is normally a local charge for beach facilities.
